Is Wi-Fi dangerous?
YES!  Any device or system that emits radiation is hazardous to your health.   Research (2000-3000 scientific studies) has been conducted on the subject. Most scientists have concluded that radiation causes harm to humans on all levels: mental, emotional, and physical.  Multiple acute and chronic conditions as well as cancerous tumors can be caused by excessive radiation. 

Why should I worry about a city-wide Wi-Fi installation?
You are already being subjected to multiple sources of radiation, EMF, and other frequencies that adversely affect your health.  This radiation comes from satellites, cellular towers, and high tension wires.  The hazardous effect is cumulative.  Adding another source that is constant and present, day and night, is ill-advised.  The transmitters are being placed on lampposts, which makes them extremely dangerous to you, your family, and your pets.  After all, these transmitters will be installed within a few feet of the sidewalk or road where you, your children, and your pets will be walking, playing, or riding. 

How does Wi-Fi endanger my children?
As scary as it seems, chronic exposure to Electromagnetic Radiation, will definitely harm your children.  Children are more vulnerable than adults because of their thinner skulls and developing nervous systems.  Teenagers are more at risk because their hormones are changing.  In fact, some parents and teachers are forcing schools to dismantle wireless computer networks amid fears that they are damaging the students health and welfare.     

Is there a way to protect myself and my family?
There are companies in the United States that claim the devices they sell mitigate the effects of Electromagnetic Radiation. Other countries are more aware of the need for protection, so further research is being done to develop or invent devices to shield individuals from the harmful effects. 

Are there any other risks associated with Wi-Fi?
Besides the potential health and environmental risks posed by Wi-Fi networks, the difficulty and cost of adequately securing such networks from identity theft, loss of personal privacy, and the unauthorized monitoring of individuals who use such networks is alarming.  Monumental consequences to the city and its citizens could be caused by a virus being introduced into the system.  All of these facts have to be considered.
